Earlier in the month with higher winds there were people out surfing near the shrine

As I was driving along Alameda I noticed this perspective with the sunset and found a spot to capture the ridge line as well as the colors in the sky on a windy afternoon

Finding a nice angle I captured the peaks of the canopy as it rose into the threatening clouds of the day

This made for an interesting drive home

Sunset in Kona Size:24"x36" Earlier in the month withAs a trip to Hawai'i ended I took out my camera and captured the sunset on the last evening on my two week trip to the islands. This was taken just north of Kona on the big island as I enjoyed a few relaxing days of just sitting on the beach and at the pool.
