Emerald Bay in Lake Tahoe is a much visited and photographed location

I had just walked down this path when I turned around to notice the scene of trees lining the walk with a hint of fresh leaves on the trees

As we approached them we had the open oceans waters which provided a backdrop of distance in this image under overcast skies on this afternoon

Playing off of this name when I found myself there on an early morning I decided to bring the sun into the photograph. Finding a nice composition was the task at hand which I could then position myself to include the sun into the scene as well. By using a small depth of field (f 22) and placing the sun
