I was watching the weather in the days leading up to the new year and it appeared the weather which brought a light dusting of snow on the last morning of 2012 would move on and clearing would start overnight

Walking around Olympic Stadium in Montreal I noticed the light on the metal buildings as they reflected the midday light

the early morning light started to glow as it passed through the fog providing the magically light found in this image

There are many indicators of Denver being the Mile High City

Aircraft Arriving Size:20"x30" I was watching the weatherThis past weekend I once again spent some time exploring the plains just outside of Denver. As I was driving along I noticed an aircraft on final approach to Denver International Airport. Looking down the road I had noticed the contrast of the two fields ahead and now the plane overflying one of those fields which got me thinking. Waiting for some more aircraft to arrive I positioned myself at the edge of these fields and photographed as a Frontier
