Not too far from sea level we came across this area and positioned myself on the rocks next to it in order to capture the lines and textures of the scene

I went for a slight angle to bring out more of the lines in the building itself on this day especially with the overcast sky

One of the items to watch while photographing in the snow is where you are walking as the trail you make could end up being in the next picture you want to take

It was a nice fall day in the Mile High City which made it a perfect time to climb the nearly 100 steps to the dome. Walking outside provided a great view of Denver and the front range in the distance.
